Hey, so - looks like this place is desolate. Understandable, since traditional internet forums and the like have sort of been on the decline - along with Perthstuck, Homestuck, the whole shebang. The whole shubbabang?
Happy tenth anniversary, y'all. We've fallen in and out of interest with Homestuck over the years, but it still bound us all together for a time. Once, it was a great force of internet culture, inescapable at conventions (well, mostly American ones - though I was still surprised when there was a few individuals at a small local convention in Homestuck cosplay once, so we're inescapable in small doses here?), spoken with a scorn to our name. But we persevered, through that scorn and through the story. We held on through the Megapause, the Gigapause, through the three years it took to release the epilogues. And now we're here - Hiveswap completed to Act One alone, the Trollcall and Friendsim started and finished, Homestuck itself now capped off with some form of plot hole patches made from already ripped fabric.
Strange how Hussie decided to scorn Homestuck and the fandom with this, huh? Written like a fanfiction, ruining fan-favourite characters, showing the importance of a balanced diet. Apparently through the last years of the main story, he just wrote to finish it off - it was nothing like his plan anyway, it had grown too big, it just needed to end. I guess this is the scorched-earth policy for Homestuck.
If anyone real is here to read this, what are your thoughts on the epilogues?
